In 1922, Richard Hollins Murray, the founding partner of Murray Smith, published his book “Income Tax for Farmers”, which brought together nearly a quarter of a century of experience and knowledge accumulated by the firm’s agricultural department. Murray Smith’s reputation for knowledge and excellence within the farming industry has been maintained to the present day.

People with farming backgrounds

Our specialist agricultural department handles the financial affairs of over two hundred farmers, cooperatives and landed estates. Many of our team come from farming backgrounds which helps us to understand the challenges you face.
