The Knutsford based Forum of Private Business was pleased to welcome George Osborne to their offices in September.

The Forum has been a Murray Smith client for almost 10 years and is a membership organisation which provides practical support and money saving assistance to SME’s throughout the UK.

Mr Osborne commented that “he would like to continue to support us working to get our members voice heard.”

During a productive meeting they were able to discuss a number of key issues which affect their members including:

• Making it easier for small companies to export
• Getting government agencies such as Companies House to minimise regulations
• Giving businesses more choice in how they communicate with enforcement agencies
• Late payment
• Recent changes to dividends, highlighted in the Budget
